Welcome to FABULOUS: Dragonfly 2013
The best part of the spring semester at OSU happened Thursday night; Dragonfly is OSU’s annual drag show whose proceeds (more than $2500 this year) go to The Equality Network, which advocates for LGBT rights in Oklahoma.
This is my third year shooting it for the O’Colly (see my 2011 and 2012 recaps), and it seems that it only gets better each year I attend. Each show involves student contestants – the “amateurs” – as well as professional drag queens from Oklahoma City and a “special guest” – this year it was Chad Michaels, who placed third on season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and won All Stars Drag Race.

College Basketball: OKState vs. Kansas
On Wednesday the Cowboys lost soul-crushingly by one in double overtime to Kansas.
Here are some pictures, blah blah blah, I’m still traumatized.
College Basketball: Bedlam
Bedlam 2013 wasn’t lacking in excitement for the full house that turned up in Gallagher-Iba this afternoon: both teams fought tooth-and-nail into overtime before the Cowboys pulled out their 84-79 win over the Sooners.

College Basketball: OKState vs. Iowa State
The Wednesday before they upset No. 2 Kansas the Cowboys edged out a 78-76 victory against Iowa State at home in Stillwater. Freshman Marcus Smart scored 21 points and won the game at the last minute with a layup. Check out my photos below.
Wrestling: OKState vs. Iowa
On Jan. 13 Cowboy wrestling took on their long-time rivals the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Cowboys stayed perfect with a nail-biting 18-12 victory decided by the last match of the contest. Check out my favorite shots below!
Wrestling: OKState vs. Wyoming
Last Saturday the OSU wrestling team took out Wyoming 31-8 at home in Gallagher Iba Arena. Check out my shots below!
Women’s Basketball: OKState vs. Stephen F. Austin
The Cowgirls stomped Stephen F. Austin 85-41 tonight to keep the nation’s longest winning streak intact for another night. Oklahoma State remains undefeated this season.
Women’s Basketball: OKState vs. Texas Southern
The OSU women’s basketball team was the only hope for OSU sports today.
The Cowgirls took down Texas Southern 91-49 in Gallagher-Iba Arena this afternoon. The Cowgirls have now gone undefeated in a 12-game streak, dating back to last season’s WNIT title; it’s currently the longest women’s basketball winning streak in the nation.
Liz Donohoe and Lindsey Keller were the Cowgirls’ leading scorers with 18 points apiece, followed by Toni Young, who put up 16.
